Install a font
Windows Vista/7/8/8.1/Server 2008 (R2)/2012 (R2)/+
Method 1: Right-click the font you want to install and click Install.
Method 2: Double-click the font to open Preview and click Install.
Windows XP/Server 2003 (R2)
1. Copy the font you want to install.
2. Click Start, and then click Run. (You can also use the shortcut: Win+R.)
3. Type the command: %windir%\fonts, and then click OK. Fonts folder will open. (You can also open folder Windows\Fonts directly.)
3. Paste the font into this folder. The font will be installed automatically.
If the font you want to install has already been installed in the system, you must uninstall it first before you reinstall or upgrade the font.

1. Click Start, and then click Run. (You can also use the shortcut: Win+R.)
2. Type the command: %windir%\fonts, and then click OK. Fonts folder will open. (You can also open folder Windows\Fonts directly.)
3. Click the font that you want to remove. To select more than one font at a time, press and hold the Ctrl key while you select each font.
4. On the File menu, click Delete.
5. When you receive the “Are you sure you want to delete these fonts?” prompt, click Yes.
You can prevent a font from loading without removing it from the hard disk. To do this, move the font from the Windows\Fonts folder to another folder.
